living in the uncomfortable zone

living in the uncomfortable zone teach me how to live my life to the fullest.

i have been here for about 3 months, 
and it is my first time to step into the life, where i have to reform and plant my self into a new church
it sounds good, but in fact it doenst taste so good. 
my current physical life is just so perfect, but my spiritual life is kind like 'dying'. 

i thought everything will be find here, my life, my study, my friends, my church and my community 
everything is very perfect, just my church and my community life is not.
i've been to two churches here, one is indonesian church (is really like fgcc) and the other one is family church (very small church)
the indonesia church is so far a way, one hour journey by train, so two hours for two ways. and it is in the morning
the family church is close to my place, the ps pick us up every sunday evening

in indonesia church, i joint the the class like i did in malaysia, the materials were all the same as u guys have there "change class" and i did join the camp (ER). but u guess what? i didn't get anything at all..
i asked God why, and the answer is 'im too proud of my self" i feel like i need no this kind of class because i joint for several times in malaysia. 
this is the first point that i want to emphasize on "PRIDE" 
                 +when u think u are great, i told u "He can makes the stone cleverer than u"
                 +when u think u dont have to bow down to Him, "He can makes all the sands praise to Him"
living as christians, we have to learn "how to learn", we have to keep reminding our self, that life is about learning! nothing will be too much to be learnt . 

as the time goes, i felt so weak, i felt so happy living in this current world! clubbin, smoking, and such
one time, there was a christian camp (hosted by christian fellowship monash campus) to one of the place here in melb, to explore the nature. i decided to join even i felt so lazy to do so. so finally i went for the camp. 
on that camp, i didnt bring any heart of worship, heart as disciple, all i had is the heart of having fun! 
and u guess? yeah God touched me and reminded me about my life. 
this is the second point, "when you are weak, HE is strong" 
                 +when u feel like u are nothing, He just can makes u move the mountain 
                 +when u expect nothing, He is the surprise for u

the third point is, back to basic "Trust in Him, and have your Faith in Him"
yeah this is what God told me during the camp. totally trust in Him, and put my faith in Him, the creator of all nations.

when i was in Malaysia, living with other christians, i can shout "God u are great" 
when i was in church, i can jump like im flying 
when i was together with those friends, i can tell His kindness 
when i was surrounded by chrtistians, i proved myself that i prayed to Him everyday 
when i was standing in the church i tell everybody that im holy and im great

when i am here surrounding by no one, living alone, go to church like normal people, no christian friends
what i do is showing me who am i. 
pray? daily bread? praise Him in my actions? my words? bless others? shout out loud that HE is great? 
BIG NO, 
seek His presence in my daily life? probably yes, when i faced problems!! 
sins? YES, im in love! 
THIS IS WHO AM I, WHEN THERE IS NO ONE AROUND ME
BUT, UNTIL HE CAME TO ME, and reminding me!! 
i realized how sinful and how selfish i am
i praise to Him for what He did, does, and doing in mylife! 

==>thats it guys, who are you when u are alone? ask your self! and see whether u are truthful to him or the vice versa ?

if u are same with me, and u are aiming for the perfect time to come and bring ur sins to Him 
i tell u "there will never be a perfect time" 
so, DO IT NOW!!

it was our early breakfast..6am didnt sleep for the whole night!1 hahahahha

since saturday until tuesday, we stayed up until 8am, and sleep for few hours, and continue again....u see hoe stress we are...

ALMOST FIRE- almost famous 

haha..yeah almost almost and almost...

i almost do the same thing again..which is fire alarm

long cut short, i help my friend to make beef pie..

and i just did some experiment, and i put some of it into the microwave, guess what happen? the pie was BURN

the smoke came out from the microwave and it was alot...

so shock!! run here and there to make sure the fire alarm wont ring..

it was really funny..and the funniest part was the video recording..

our neighbor instead of taping us than help us out..

but thanks for him,,it was really funny when i look at the video..ahhahaha

that is just a little part of it..but still....

oh ya...at the end the fire alarm didn't ring..

i think at that moment i almost kena heart attack!! wakakkakaka

everything just came back like before, we all went to the room and do assignment *sigh* 

one of my friends randomly asked "do you want to see my ads? i did that in HK" (she is HK)

"ohh, alrite....!!"

started with the very normal scenes,,and suddenly we saw her appeared on the screen and she did quite ridiculous movement (is not her style) which is posing like a model and take picture in the mall..

the rest of us laugh like shit!! hahhaa really SHIOK!! hahahhaha

it just another entertainment during our assignment!

another messy day

 as usual my blogging time is always my assignment time

consumer behaviour assignment is really sucks!! alot to write and discuss, is a 3000 words report

my day has become night and my night has become day

yesterday, i stayed up until 8am, did my assignment in my friend's room

my notes and my books were everywhere

this assignment is basically about consumer behaviour it self (as the units name). 

have to analyze consumers' perception, involvement, attitude, social class, opinion leader, and group influences, the purpose is to let the marketers know, how important are these things in developing the marketing strategies. 

it is actually quite interesting, however the topics are too deep, is kind of behavioural studies or can classified as the part of psychology studies. 

and i realized, marketing is not just about selling and promoting the products and brands,

but it requires in depth understanding of consumer behaviour. what makes consumer interested in our product, what is their perception on our products, is our product involve a high or low degree of involvement. as well as how important is GOSSIP

think about this, how many times have you ask the opinions from your friends when you want to buy something? can u see how powerful is their opinions, they can simply just say something which will affect your buying behaviour. 

when you heard about junk food, what will you think? unhealthy? do you realize how powerful the mass media are? they can just report, yesterday someone died because having too much big m*c. and tomorrow the restaurant will become very quite. everyone 'kia si' lol. 

and do you realize that time by times, mass media and your superstar are trying to manipulate you. they teach you how to wear! they tell you the latest style! they do everything in order to change you.. question now is WHY? simple $$ money. 

how many of you have watched Gossip Girl? do you realize that most of the time they bring some particular brands in their scenes..what are they trying to do? simple PROMOTION

telling you that by using this, by wearing that you will have the different social class, you will look different with others, you are just perfect!! *evil* 

Gucci? LV? Chanel? 

prestige? self satisfaction? whatever your needs and motivations, marketers are targeting you now !!!

jadi gw decided tuk beli, pas uda nyampe rumah

coba ngeprint langsung dari camera, eh bisa..keren yah..

abis itu masukin cdnya k laptop, mao install!! eh ternyata mac gw versi baru

itu cd untuk versi lama,,,berhubung baru beli, jadi semangat mencari d internet masi ada

eh ternyata gw dapet installernya

jadi gw install, dan gw coba pake printernya

ternyata it works... tapi pas pertengahan, kertasnya jam !!masyarakat..

ini printernya, bawah tuh hasilnya..lumayan loh hasilnya!!

ini cartridge plus photo papernya satu set, ga bisa terpisah!
ini cartridge yg uda rusak akibat paper yg jam!! sedih!! padahal masi ada 8 kertas yg belon terpake!!
ini isi dari cartridgenya.. kertas transparan warna warni..hehehhehehehe
intinya, gara2 jam itu, trial photo pack gw which is 10 lembar angus..(yg angus 8) untung k print 2!! 

jadi aga sedih sekarang, ...huh moga2 mesinny ga rusak meski paper jam!!!

so i decided to buy the drink from the vending machine, i saw one unique can in the vending machine, so i decided to try it, because it is new for me

and when i got that can of water, i actually dont know what the taste is

and the funny thing is the brand "MOTHER" under the name it stated "mother of all energy kicks" (AGAIN DONT KNOW HOW TO MOVE THE PICTURE PROPERLY) 

i just wonder where is the father! lol...

di sini berwick caufield naik train approx. 40 min. (belon bangun pagi, jalan ke train station, nunggu train, sempit2an ama yg mao kerja, train yg dudul kadang suka telat, kadang suka berhenti kelamaan d station2 tertentu) 

jadi bayangin aja!!

gw harus brangkat naik train yg jam 6an kali buat exam yg pagi...

alasannya :

1. klo trainnya mogok, bisa nunggu yg satu lagi

2. bisa cari2 tempat duduk dulu

3. bisa cari tau di mana tuh exam venuenya

4. kaga sempit2an ama om2 n mbak2

**train d sini cmn ada setengah jam sekali, kadang sejam sekali..jadi bayangin klo d tinggal train, trus brangkat jam 7...telat lah nyampe d caufieldnya..

hahhahahaha

oh cuaca d sini...

pas gw nyampe sini winter,,dingin, angin kencang, malam apa lagi

bulan september skrg, spring..siang kadang 17 kadang 21 (hari ini panas seh) tp angin sepoi2..

malam tetep dingin tp ga sedingin winter

nah, november donk...SUMMER dikirakan siang up to 41 derajat!! bayangin..malam blon cari tao

he hey!!

i am really pissed off because of this blog..i copy from the previous post that i typed, and i cant copy it!!! WTF!!

so i decided not to repeat my events! just post these few pictures!! enjoy....

boring yet fun

university life started. alot of new things happen

such as:

1. new room

2. new flat's mates

3. new subjects

4. new lectures

5. new class mates

6. new church

7. new community

8. new bed, pillow, pans, knife, plates, etc..

1 to 5 and 8 i will skip it

so the rest is number 6 and 7

okay start with number 6, 

==NEW CHURCH==

okay, been here for 4 sundays

and so far i've been to 2 different churches

1 is a small but warm family church in berwick and the other one is indonesian church in the city. 

yeah. is actually quite difficult to decide which one i should stay. both are comfortable

let see how it goes, but most probably i will stay in the indonesian church 

because it feels like the one in Malaysia. and yeah i can turn my self from "kampong" to the city every week *lol*

==NEW COMMUNITY==

this community is as in church category. 

i joined one cell group from the indonesian church last week, on friday start from 7 till drop

hahahhah, it was fun!! the people. the story, the words of God and the food!!

yeap...but the problem is "distance" is in the city, again it is very far!!

the cell leader is a girl who speak alot, laugh a lot, and share alot!!

yeah, i kinda love the athmosphere in the cell..so let see how it goes next week!!

hope i can gain something from it!!!

history maker in Berwick campus

it was so funny yet fear!! 

you know what i did last week?

i dismiss all the classes in berwick campus

wanna know how it goes?

be prepared to laugh!!

here the story goes

someday last week, i decided to cook for lunch because i dont have any classes on that day

so i cooked rice, fish, and fried chicken..everything was alright

until "one chicken wing fell to the floor", my flat's mate picked it up and threw it into the hot boiling oil. and i was so shock, i decided to throw it away,..but the my friend said nvm...just put it in the oil for a while

yeap so i put it in, and the oil was spilt into the hot plate (we dont use fire) as a result a bounch of smoke came out from the hot plate

and u guess what, after a couple of minutes, tha fire alarm "RING"

everyone who stay in the halls have to be evacuated to the field..and when i was arrived at the field, i saw all of the students, tutors, and lectures were evacuating from the campus

i didnt realize that it was because of me

until one of the warden asked "who is cooking on the 1st floor" (where my room and kitchen is) and i raised my hand...

thats it!! DINO became so famous around the hall....

huh.....i'm one of the history makers in my residential!!

yeah, today is my official day in campus

is a orientation day! well as i expected is pretty much the same with the other orientation

it is boring..how bored is that? hmm imagine if you sitting down in your pretty toilet and waiting for your sh*t to come out, no books, handphone, nothing that u can play of. yeah! is the same feeling!!

tempted to skip it, but somehow feel guilty..so decided to stay till the last. people were getting lesser when new session is started. is like the sh*t of you and me. when first, is a lot but when time goes, it is getting lesser and lesser and at the end no one!!

after the orientation, went back home and slept, while the others were playing football down there.

continue by dinner, i cooked spaghetti with the other two guys. timothy and tommy..both are my flat mate. actually just the door beside and infront.

and we ended up the day with watching kungfu panda.. it was so funny!!!

thats it for today!! waiting for tomorrow!! i hope it will be a fun and happy day

yeah, finally i managed my ass here!!

in berwick melbourne!!, pretty nice here, the campus, the place i stay, weather, and friends!!

been here for 3 days!! and everything good!!

even first day, i did all the things alone. such as walking to one of the supermarket, hop on the bus to one of the shopping center, to bank!! everything alone..hahahaha

but fortunately, on the 2nd day i got new friends the came from mauritius, hong kong, singapore, and malaysia.. we went to springville where those asian markets are. bought some daily groceries one of the is INDOMIE yeah!! i made it!! lol

and we went to to city to have our dinner, italian food i guess!!

nice here!!

and having some dessert ice cream!! the top ice cream in melb? maybe!!

i love to be here!!!!! i guess my 3 years here will be fun and have to be fun!!!!^^

new chapter of mylife

setelah berjuang selama 17 tahun di indo, 2 tahun d malay, akhirnya gw bisa menginjakkan kaki d luar asia tuk lanjutin kuliah gw

currently gw lg d sing, dan skrg adlh detik2 trakhir gw d sini (ga detik2 juga seh, berjam2)..

ntar malem gw bakal terbang ke aussie, tepatnya d melbourne.

dan mulai kamis pagi ini gw bakal memulai petualangan baru dalam hidup gue, 

ga tao apa yg bakal gw rasain, yg pasti gw harus bisa enjoy mylife there..

gw uda pusing ngurusin transfer ini, jadi gw ga mao bgt sia2in kesempatan ini...

it will be a new step of my life, my future will depends on this step, so instead of fooling around i will add several recipes in my life, which is "study", on one hand i want to fully enjoy my life in  australia and on the other hand i want to score the best and get my degrees as soon as possible

and jump into working place. hehehhee

my feeling right now is exciting yet afraid. afraid of lonely and excite of new experiences

i think my 'kampong' song can be use at this time, which is "bintang blablabla" lupa gw judulny

the lyric goes like this "malam2 aku sendiri, tanpa cintamu lagi ohhhhhhhh, hanya satu keyakinanku, bintang kan bersinar, menerpa hidupku, bahagia kan datang...."hahahahaa

yeah i will be alone at nite time, because i will be in my own room!!! not sharing anymore!!yeah!

uda totally say goodbye ama malaysia, soalnya visa gw uda beres..hehhehehe

ada satu topik neh yg gw mikirin mulu dari td malem..yaitu "janji"

orang indo sering bgt buat janji, janji sini janji sana sampai kadang ga mikir "apa seh arti sebuah janji itu" 

akhirnya smua janji menjadi janji kosong,,coba perhatiin aja, klo ada satu yg ga tepatin janji trus klo d tagih pasti bilangnya "orang indo mah". emank ada apa dgn org indo? sama2 manusia kan? 

ya basically itu aja seh,,coba d pikir lagi janji itu sebenarnya apa.....

yeap, is the last 12 hours for me to stay in sunway malaysia!!

anyway  these past 2 days, i gathered with my friends (ecek2nya perpisahan) 

first night, i went to Toni Roma's with the other

 twelve. we had nice foods there, nice gathering, nice pictures and nice ice cream in hagan daze (gemana cara spellnya seh??) 

and the next day, i went to korean restaurant near mentari court, with another 5. still, we have

 a nice food, nice talk and everything is nice

oh ya, another crazy things is that the day before kher2 leaving malaysia, we had took some crazy pictures in our lovely house a-6-1...
